Are we seeing AD's career best statistical performance this year?

Career high in MPG, FG%, 3pt%, PPG, FT%, AST among maybe some not so obvious others.
Lets potentially assume Cousins resigns, no way AD hits these core numbers going back to sharing a load. Right?

Cousins is re-signing, but history says it takes 2 years before a guy can either return to pre-injury form or never does afterwards. I think at this point we can assume Cousins is the Bosh/Love of this trio and AD/Jrue will be scoring more like this.
Amazing season, but its crazy to think 2014 is possibly even better. Its crazy to think we still don't know his ceiling yet.

Better BPM
Better VORP
33% less turnovers

Stealing some numbers from Jake Madison's Locked on Pel's podcast from a few days ago. AD's usage rate is up from about 29% to 34% since Boogie went down. You'd expect that part of the equation to revert back.
What you hope can be a permanent change is him settling for jumpers less and attacking more like he has been. AD's averaged 9.2 FT attempts per game in February. It was 8.4 in January and 7.4 in December. AD/DC started out the year getting fouled like crazy the first week or 2, then the calls stopped coming as easily so they stopped working as hard to attack and get them.

I die inside every time he gets lazy and settles for a contested 20+ foot jump shot. He can take most of these guys off the dribble.

That's his binky and I hate it. Opponents will let him rise up and take that shot all day. Hell, sometimes he will pass up a wide open 3 to dribble forward and take the contested long two from his comfort zone.

Davis has been much effective defending the rim with Cousins out, but he’s also been defending more shots around the basket and more disruptive creating blocks and turnovers.

Cousins is the more willing defender when it comes to dirty work down low. But we all know Davis is the better defender.

He was spectacular in 14-15, but his usage wasn't as high and he wasn't shooting threes. He made THE THREE for that season, but that was his only one. What I like is that recently he has turned into a goddam alpha dog.
