The longer this goes, the less likely they play. They're around the team, at least. They'll play Monday no doubt. Lakers are taking forever on everything and it's holding the league up. No one is happy.

No, it did not. Just the moratorium was lifted at 12:00pm EST. Technically, we have until midnight (Favors guaranteed date being a part of the issue to complete that deal). There are many transactions that can't be completed based on this one trade.

Yep and it appears as if they are doing it all last minute as if they had no backup plan in the event that Kawhi decided to play elsewhere.

There are other teams that are waiting to put in trades and sign players until after this one is done, because it affects their cap space too. It's not just the rookies who can't play in the summer league.
I thought that the Lakers had practically spent all of their cap now. I wonder what they are still working on that's holding things up.

According to Guillory and Lopez, they are trying to get the trade call done soon. Hayes and NAW aren't officially not playing tonight.

Like I said earlier, Lopez and Guillory both said they'll have the trade call at some point this evening. They'll need to have two or three done tonight. The Favors trade being one of them.
