It’s not up for debate. Take the homer goggles off and realize it clearly had some extra sauce on it for a reason.

They just showed the ejection on HLN, calling it one of the most bizarre.

Not denying it was a quick ejection and wasn’t necessary. But did HLN also show that he a had a tech right before that for cursing at the ref? Can’t tell me some of that didn’t spill over to the second interaction.

Extra sauce on a bounce pass that was spun around another player to get to them?
My point is there is only so much force that can be on that type of pass and it is less that probably any normal bounce pass. That is also with less force than any chest pass.
It had so little force it barely got to him. It is a silly situation for a tech. The ref obviously got emotional and screwed up.

The next time Tiven refs a Pelicans game, I wish JJ would go "Globetrotter" on him and fake a hard chest pass.
