Anyone else happy to see the league cutting down on traveling?

We'll see. I never trust the way things are called early on in the season. They always end up relaxing by midseason. I don't see it any different this year.

Absolutely not. I can’t fricking stand when they call walking before the dribble off a catch. If it’s extremely obvious then call it, but I don’t want to see 10 calls for that travel.

Someone from Toronto caught a pass on a fast break and I’m pretty sure he took 4 steps without dribbling, right in front of the ref, and the next possession Lowry went driving to the goal into a flock of Pelicans and traveled his arse off before turning it over.
Nothing irritates me more than shite like that not getting called, but ticky tack travels on the perimeter are called in excess. Sometimes I don’t think it’s even a travel. And your never going to see that called on Lebron. He literally travels a good 5 times a game, every game. And I would say I don’t want them calling all of them on him either, but they’ve got to get better at recognizing when a player takes 3 steps towards the goal, and I don’t want to hear the “gathering” bull shite excuse.

On the money Teddy. Getting called for walking because you have a really good first step seems pointless and just stops the flow of the game. Id be much happier if they called the Eurostep walking, which it is, or at least quit letting a guy take five steps before he dunks.
