After the lottery happened, as Griffin and Gentry did interviews, Gentry was pulled away to meet a member of Zion’s team. They had a positive 10-15 mins meeting about what was to come.
As far as NOLA was concerned, Zion was always coming/excited about the results.

If the Lakers or Knicks had won the lottery, he would have been traded to NOLA more likely than not. Between N.O., N.Y. & L.A. it was always more likely he was going to end up in New Orleans than anywhere else.

It seems the narrative has turned in our favor a bit. I see a lot of people starting to laugh at anyone that implies Zion will be anywhere other than NO.

Was there something in particular that makes you hate him? I know this tweet was bad and started a bunch of crap, but what else has he done.
