when our 2 best players combine for as many FT attempts as our coach, there is something wrong

The Spurs being the NBA’s best team over the course of the last two decades kind of throws works against that.

He didn’t put right say it, but he did say “we need to get to the line more. They have 59 attempts to our 20.”

Someone asked “how does Jrue and AD get more FTAs? Do they just play more aggressively?”

Alvin said “they did play aggressively. We had 53 shot attempts in the paint and had 9 free throws”

Not exactly making a statement but he did bring it up

that's the "I don't want another fine for critiquing the officials" way of critiquing the officials for the first 2 games of this series

I thoughtbit was funny that Wesley mentioned they meed to force the officiating issues by getting technicals. Gentry did that in the first game and it did absolutely nothing. It actually got worse after he did it.

AD, jrue, and rondo all made it a point to talk about the officiating

The Spurs have been a known commodity dating back to when David Robinson was roaming the paint. Dude was on numerous commercials. Then Tim Duncan came along. Then one of the best coaches in history.

It is a tried out way of debunking the obvious. San Antonio is small market, but theu are known, very known, and have been known for a long time. Respected and brings fans to the yard.

New Orleans is THE smallest market; no one outside die hard NBA fans knows a damn thing about the Pels or even Anthony Davis. Smallest press coverage and no one will watch NO in western semis and definitely not the finals. That is a fact.

I wish you were right, but you and i know the nba is salivating at a houston vs golden state matchup. Therefore, us complaining will probably change nothing. Damn shame because the lack of fouls called our way was the difference in game 2. Still damn proud of our team though.
