The one thing about this crazy spending is that some of contracts are looking really good right now.

Jrue at 11 million per for 2 more years, if he can stay healthy, is a bargain. Likewise with Tyreke at 10.7 mill per.

shite, even Gordon at 15 is not that bad anymore, and Ryno at 8 is a great deal (compared to Aminu making almost the same).

meh, you are comparing contracts signed in today's time comparative to contracts signed 3 yrs ago. times keep changing, that will always be the case. bottom line, they weren't very good value contracts at the time of signing which is what you control and judge off of. Signing asik now to a 5 yr 50 million dollar deal doesn't justify itself 3 yrs from now when the 9th guy on the bench makes 8 million then.

My point was that those contracts are going to be bargains in the new salary cap, and are highly tradeable should we need to.

I actually meant to include him first. He's the best bargain of all. But yeah, just forgot.

of course, but most incoming talent would be on that much worse of deals though... always a plus and down side.

Reke's is looking fantastic...lets say you wanted to move him after next year, holy crap you'd have some suitors for that number.

Agreed. It's funny, because I remember people on here complaining about his contract when we traded for him.

you dont think it had anything to do with his shooting percentages with Memphis thru 30 games?

35fg 23 from 3%

I mean lets not kid ourselves, no one expected him to shoot 45% from 3

Don't care. Can't shoot...don't want.

The only contract I have thought has been really poor is Gordon the last several years. I didn't think Evans, Holiday, or Anderson had terrible contracts.

you could make a strong case for Gordon's contract being league-worst over the past three years
