just hold them to 65 points in the 2nd half and the Pelicans win the game

you had them down by 20 points, 69-49, at halftime... on your home floor... and you just knew it wasn't a big enough lead

a 20 point halftime lead at home... you score 46 yourself in the 2nd half... that should be much more than enough to beat any team... no matter how good they are

the Pelicans have played GSW 3 times this season... in all 3 the Pelicans had a double-digit lead... and GSW came back like it was nothing... it's almost like they use the Pelicans to see how far they can get down and still come back and win

just so, so, so frustrating

yes this one stat irritates me to no end

what on earth happened?

ETA: that's 3.2 points per minute... they scored more than a bucket per minute in the 2nd half

You shouldn't be surprised at this point because It is the Warriors. This is just what they do.

The Warriors do this all the time .. most coaches call a timeout when they cut your lead in half.

Gentry likes to wait until the lead swings 10 in the other direction

I told my kids the 20 point lead was temporary. Seen it happen far too often. Time for a change now

Even though it didn't do anything, to his credit, he did call a timeout when the lead was cut to about 12. We all knew that lead wouldn't last against the Warriors. At any given moment they can turn it on and get whatever shots they want on the court.

It’s probably the best shooting team in history. When they get hot, you’re not stopping them. So many of their shots were contested shots that they just hauled into the air - but for the Warriors those shots go in. It’s painful to watch.
