I'll be happy with 2-1. Idc how good we look vs Dallas and pacers. I have 0 expectation of winning that third game.

I honestly think if they beat the Mavs, they should rest AD and Jrue vs. Indy.

I keep seeing people say this and I’m not sure why. Dallas should be an easy W

You limit ADs minutes to 26-30ish if necessary, and hopefully he doesn’t have to play much in the 4th.

Indiana is a beatable team. You’re home, you’re trying to make the playoffs. Again, I play but I look into minute restrictions. Why sit and take an L when you have Houston, @Cavs, SA, @GS, POR all coming up?

LAL, not an easy win, but the Pels are the better team.

Real chance here to get the city really behind them. 3 home games, 3 very winnable games. If I’m going to rest guys I’ll do it against someone I feel we don’t have much of a chance against, like Houston. They can’t afford to sit and take a loss against a team like Indiana right now. West is way too tight and that could come back to bite them. Just my opinion.

Because you risk injury and exhaustion late in the season. The tie breakers are against western conference teams and right now those numbers aren’t great for the Pels. Need to win against Dallas and LAL and gear up for HOU.

Just go 2-2 the next 4 and we will be ok.

Boston should’ve been a much tougher night but we got lucky with their injuries. Now with Dallas having 2 of their best players out (Wes Matthews & Dennis Smith Jr), it allows for a less stressful path to victory and less minutes for AD and Jrue

With all the nail biters/stressful games this team has played (along with Solo coming back for a few minutes), the Boston and Dallas games are gifts before going into the stretch of Indy, Lakers, and Houston. Still Indy and LAL will not be easy but Boston and Dallas before it makes going 2-1 a higher probability

Have to go 2-1.

With that said...I think AD knows what is at stake, he has very favorable match-ups, he plays like the MVP candidate that he is, and we win all three games.

I would love to start the Mavs game with AD on the bench and keep him there for as long as possible, but the Mavs (and their backups) have given us trouble this year. They are also 4-6 over their last 10 with wins over the Pacers and Nuggets while taking the Raptors and Thunder to OT.

Oh it’s by no means a guaranteed win. But with those two guys out for them, I like our chances

How about not rest anybody? Teams fighting for playoff spots don’t have the luxury of resting players. Y’all need to try to win every single game.

Absolutely, but a long term injury to AD would be a nightmare

I think we can win all 3. The key to winning all three is beating the crap out of Dallas early on. If you can play that game and AD and Jrue only have to play 20 minutes, then that's pretty much like not playing a game and just having practice. Come out and build your lead, let AD and Jrue rest as much as possible in the 1st half. Let the come out of the half to start the 3rd and hopefully you can make a run that makes the Mavs quit and the two of them don't have to play the 4th quarter at all. 7 minute first quarter 8 minute 2nd quarter, 7 minute 3rd quarter, done.

I agree they can't afford to rest anyone at this point. Maybe limit minutes a little if possible

He’s not injured. It’s not like he’s playing through an injury and risking his long term health. He’s healthy.

The hope is that we can get ahead of the Mavs quick enough that he doesn't need to play many minutes, but make no mistake, there is no chance that we predetermine he is going to sit out for rest. He will play all 3 games. How many minutes will depend on how competitive the games are.

AD still played 32 against Boston. They'll have to be rolling hard for him to get much rest.

I’m just hoping the punch dallas in the mouth early. Would like to see AD play less than 30 in this one. Indiana and LA are much tougher teams
