Good lord they can't lose every single game

Even the fricking Knicks don't do that

Be glad they at least lost to the suns

There’s no need to be so pessimistic over something with so much uncertainty. I remember the tank year before we drafted AD people absolutely melted when Belinelli made a last minute layup to beat the Warriors and “ruin” the tank. Without that win the Pels don’t get AD.

I just look at it like the flip side to the Suns loss like you said. We gave one away in hilarious fashion. Now we win one we shouldn’t have.

But if we win the Suns one and lose this one, then we are in the same spot but Mavs have an extra win -- making that scenario better. Winning this game is awful because our pick gets worse and Mavs odds of keeping theirs gets better.

Too many winnable games left on the schedule. Magic, Hornets, Hawks, Lakers, Kings (2x).

Folks would be much better served just hoping the young guys continue to play well and take each result however it is

Yeah you can hope for a loss but expecting it every night is foolhardy

This draft in particular isn't worth crying over and for all we know the Knicks get Zion and trade for AD or something else crazy happens

It’s much easier to root against them on the road. I don’t know about anyone else, but I find I root harder for them to lose on the road to make up for the fact I can’t feasibly do it at home in the arena.

Gotta feel good for Elfrid tonight though. Pretty crazy to be smack dab on any list sandwiched between Westbrook Jordan Harden and Magic.

That’s not a little weenie stat too like only one of 5 players to score 17 rebound 14 assist 16 while shooting 72% from the field, 60% from 3, and 100% at the line while only committing 2 or less fouls and having 1 turnover or less...in one game.

That’s a consistency stat and something only two modern players have managed to do in a row like that.

I get the Mavs angle to this. You don't want Dallas to get to add to an already potentially great core. But outside of that I think people need to accept that it's more likely than not that the Pels will not be getting a top 4 pick. I have zero expectation of a top 4 Pels pick, although I do hope they're able to keep it in the top 10 for trade purposes.

That's fair but Yeah I don't see them dropping past 9-10 in any way

They beat the mavs tonight but had to go to OT against 2 terrible teams

They also got eliminated from playoff contention so they could sit AD permanently and/or do something like sit/limit randles minutes
