I scooped up a pair of tickets for the upcoming season for 12 games. The sales rep recommended the contender plan since I mentioned I usually try to attend the marquee games.

I was curious to see if anyone else on this board has ever purchased this 12 game before, and what types of matchups that come with it.

He did mention the lakers game is included, so that’s exciting. I’ve never seen LeBron play before, and it’ll be nice to see him before he retires in a few years.

If it's the same as it was 7-8 years ago, you'll get mostly solid match ups - Lakers, Clippers, GSW, etc. - and they'll have a couple of teams that are obviously not contenders but sales used to fill out the package.

Mostly good teams, though.

Yeah, that is typically a good deal. You shouldn’t be disappointed.

Yes, internally the team grades teams based on demand. So the Lakers are in a class of their own then I would expect teams with superstars like the Nets or Warriors would be the next tier all the way down to teams people don't give a shite about like the Hornets way down at the bottom. The ticket prices are set based on that so a $20 ticket to the Rockets game may be $50 against the Lakers, $35 against the Warriors, or $10 against the Hornets.

You will probably get a bunch of playoff caliber teams but some may be in low demand to make the money add up.

Yeah those only come in the "Westbank Flat Bill Snapback" plan.
