best: a three way tie between, flaming lips on the beach hangout fest 2011, Jack white hangout 2012, and Red hot chilli peppers hangout 2012.

Well, the place I saw them in was an old steel furnace, and everyone is basically in a small concrete bowl. Far too many people moshing in a very small enclosed area for me personally, if I'm tripping(back when I did things like that). I got pulled out by my friends, and found a spot on top of a wall. It was awesome after that.
I also saw Pantera that year, and dropped acid. I thought the world was ending.
