Got an email saying this. Says it starts today, the 17th.

Is this true?

Looks to be sort of true.

YouTube TV is offering a five-day free preview of HBO Max and Cinemax starting today (June 17th) through June 21st, meaning subscribers can catch up on original shows and hit movies this weekend. The best part is when the preview is over, there is nothing you have to do - you won’t have to remember to cancel.

While HBO and some HBO Max content is available in the YouTube TV interface, to access all episodes of HBO Max originals you would need access to the HBO Max App, which isn’t available during the free preview.

I got the same. It does not show up on my list of channels but I can go to HBOMax on demand through YTTV for free

If you have AT&T cell service then you should already get HBOMax.

I’ve been with AT&T since the Cingular Wireless days and I don’t get it free because of AT&T.

Not all At&t customers get it for free. But you might want to check if you haven't already.

Holy crap you are right. I completely forgot about this when I signed up. Just checked my AT&T account

Also, YTTV gave a pop up this morning about it. I was asking before because it wasn’t clear on YTTV.

Now I need some good shows to watch. Newer ones. I’ve seen all the greats.
