But only during the first two thirds of the movie. When it's time to fight a bunch of mutants.... not so much.

quote:

and boy did they botch this...I need really powerful mutants..."alright how about a guy with wings that is a decent cage fighter!"

He took 4 of the first 5 mutants he met. If Olivia Munn doesn't walk out from the back room I'm sure Caliban would have been one of his Horsemen.

cheesiest part is when they're standing in that portal like "hey mags come join our team of super best friends"

just fricking awful.

Singer trying to mimic how Vaughn captured the coolness of a time period hasn't really helped either "this time we're going to do the 80s because....frick yeah it'll be cool."

its also funny Munn passed on Deadpool because she wanted to play a bad ass

quote:

For Munn, the brute strength of her character was an important issue, a make-or-break thing, and the discussions dragged on. “I thought Psylocke was always one of the most lethal characters, and I said, ‘Yes, as long as you’re not using her to be the eye candy. She has really powerful abilities.’ And they said, ‘Yes, that’s an important part.’
pretty much all she was in that movie

If Disney is smart, they’ll bring in Matthew Vaughn for Fantastic Four. He’s proven several times he can direct big fun action blockbusters while developing the relationships between characters.

She’s marrying one of those Jonas brother pimples. She’ll have plenty of money to fall back on as long as shitty, musically disinclined children and overweight fat chicks eat their music up.

She sucks as an actress and I don't pay close enough attention or care enough about her personal life to know she was marrying "her love".

You think she is a good actress?

Ok, we good.

You are an idiot.

My guess is either the Russo bros or Brad Bird.

His first movie since Fantastic Four is called Fonzo and is in post production right now. It stars Tom Hardy and is about Al Capone dealing with dementia while living out his final days in prison.

Based on what I'm hearing and seeing, I will likely wait for on demand/Redbox for this one. I rented Apocalypse and fell asleep toward the end on first view and had to go back later to finish watching it. 21% is incredibly low for a recent comic book film. What others have been that low or lower, the most recent Fantastic Four?

Ridiculous for her to gripe about eye candy when she posts about 1000 instagram bikini shots a week.

God bless her for her continued photo shoots but if you want people to hire you for your acting you might want to stop being an instagram whore.

I feel like this is one of those movies that everybody decided they were going to hate ahead of seeing it, and nobody really has any desire to see the X-Men franchise take another shot at the Dark Phoenix storyline.

That said, I expect this movie to be my least favorite X-Men film out of the 4 with the new cast.

They're trying to shoehorn a story that should be it's own trilogy into an under 2 hour runtime. They'll never succeed until they realize this.

She’s not even that attractive. She is very meh. She lives off game of thrones, thats it.

This is one of the times where the girls in the quad meme is very true.

I haven't watched Bodyguard yet, but Madden has been getting some good roles. Bodyguard, Rocketman, it looks like he's the lead in a WWI movie that also has Cumberbatch, Mark Strong, and Colin Firth, and it also looks like he might be Ikarus in The Eternals.

I hate they wasted this movie on another take on Dark Phoenix. Xmen fighting themselves is so non interesting.

PS. Is Sophie Turner really that bad an actress?
She seemed adequate in Thrones but o well.
