Inspired by the real-life German special operations unit KG 200 that shot down, repaired, and flew Allied aircraft as Trojan horses, "Wolf Hound" takes place in 1944 German-occupied France and follows the daring exploits of Jewish-American fighter pilot Captain David Holden. Ambushed behind enemy lines, Holden must rescue a captured B-17 Flying Fortress crew, evade a ruthless enemy stalking him at every turn, and foil a plot that could completely alter the outcome of World War II.

Featuring action sequences using vintage aircraft, this thrilling WWII epic shows how one man’s courage can change the world. On a recon mission over Germany, pilot David Holden (James Maslow) is shot down along with a B-17 bomber. He lands near an airfield, where he learns the Germans are loading the U.S.-marked aircraft with a city-destroying super bomb that could help the Axis win the war. Now, Holden must evade search patrols and a vengeful Nazi soldier to rescue the captured crew and stop the doomsday plot.

And rescued by a 105# female French Resistance fighter from Cameroon who saves him by judo-chopping to unconsciousness elite SS troops, all the while lecturing Holden that of women were in charge of these nations there would have been no war. She then flies the captured Allied aircraft to freedom with no training or flight experience. Holden's contributions are to get them lost, give away their position to the Germans and otherwise impede the mission's progress.

I like the idea of this story but that trailer looks retarded.

As someone who does scale models of WW2 era aircraft, I love seeing the genuine articles in the air. But the movie itself....no. just no.

Holy shite, what a terrible looking movie. That trailer was stinky garbage. And purely from a cultural standpoint, the romanticism of Word War II is dead and buried.

While I do agree this trailer looks terrible, I think the romanticism still exists for the genre, but our standards are much higher than this film. Lately a decent bit of movies have been made of similar formula to this one and the formula is oversaturated IMO.

Looks like a video game trailer...complete with the "speaking in English with exaggerated German accent."
