Watched last night and it was very good but did I miss it or was it implied that the same drillers also killed Renner’s daughter 3 years earlier?

I didn’t pick that up either but when he’s telling the FBI agent her story he mentions their was a party with people she knew then people showed up that they didn’t know. Made me think the people they didn’t know were the drillers

I got the sense that something similar happened to her and he took it out on these guys, whether they were the culprits or not.

I actually kind of thought that it was implied. It made a lot of sense.
The picture of the two girls together at the end, so they're friends. So if that one girl is dating an oilfield baw its reasonable to think the other one knew them as well. It also plays into the whole "a group of people they didn't know came by" being the other oilfield dudes.
Also the circumstances of the deaths are very similar, including the area where they were found. Both of which were in proximity (well...6 miles) to the oilfield baws. They both died of exposure, in a similar area, and both probably knew the oilfield dudes.

They weren't 'oilfield baws'.... they were security contractors. And had nothing to do with his daughters death

No, there was no implication who it was 3 years earlier. I just watched it again.....Jesus what a great movie! Sicario, HOHW and Wind River. What a run.
