A third of IW takes place in Wakanda. It’s a Black Panther movie with Avengers. You’re combining Black Panther fans with Avengers fans plus the SJWphobes who avoided BP. It’ll do better than Black Panther.

Black Panther and Wakanda seem to play a pretty huge role in Infinity War, so I’d think if nothing else word of mouth would lead many of the same casuals to go see.
Infinity War could very well give Titantic or even Avatar a run for their money. The first Avengers made $1.5 billion. I fully anticipate this to exceed that and hit $2 billion if it’s as good as it looks

Nope. BP we able to tap into the black community it and keep them coming back. Similar thing Titanic did. That one had women going back and women hate to go to a movie alone. So repeat visits were at least two tickets.

WW yes, but not domestically. BP will finish between 660-680 domestically. Just an insane BO run.

I think it does.
Lets not forget that this is the film that is literally 10 years in the making. This is the pay off for Marvel fans. This is not a movie that people will only see once. If it is good, expect people to go multiple times.

BP is an event film that'll finish at about 660 million....almost 300 mil less than TFA

I guess I am basing it on assuming it is a great movie.
Pure comic book fans have proven they will see a movie multiple times. It is why so many comic book movies make bank, even the ones that aren't great. It is like a defensive mechanism. If the movie makes enough money, it justifies comic book movies and legitimizes them. Hence why you see sections of fans trying to throw them into award discussions despite how ridiculous it is.
Comic book fans NEED this movie to be epic. Otherwise we wasted ten years and a lot of time/effort. This can't be a Civil War. This needs to recreate the magic of Avengers despite the fact that the gimmick of all these characters on the same screen isn't new anymore. Ita just being done on a larger scale.
So I fully believe die-hard comic book fans come out and support this movie massively.

Ehh. Unless it's complete garbage IW will make a ton. Iron Man 3 was bad but it's #4 in the MCU box office. The buildup will carry it.

I don’t watch most of them in theaters.
But I do like really like some of them like the first Iron Man, Winter Solider, Ragnorok, and GOTG 2. I find the rest kinda boring. I continue to watch in the hopes I might like it.
