Why is Aquaman flying in the old Superfriends intro.?

And, are they in space? Even if he can fly, what good is he in space? He can't talk to any fish up there . . .

And why is his and Wonder Woman's hair moving yet Superman's hair appears to have some max. hold gel in it (though his cape seems to be pulsating)?

He burns it off with his own laser vision reflecting off a mirror. Although... why doesn't his laser vision burn through the mirror?

Just as important -- if they are in space, Superman's hair is the most realistic of the three since there's no atmosphere to provide the resistance necessary for hair to move when in motion.

Can Wonder Woman fly like that? I thought she had a jet.

Can Aquaman breathe in space?
