Who watched Mayans MC?

I watched the first episode back when it came out and thought it looked bad and never went back. I'd like to hear an opinion from someone who watched the entire season though. Does this thing have any shot at becoming a guilty pleasure?

I've sat through one episode hoping to get that SOA vibe, didn't come close, Gave up.

After suffering through the last seasons of SOA, I can barely stand to see the commercial for Mayans. No more Sutter for me.

Watched all of season 1 and and currently finishing first episode of season 2, it’s a real slog and not sure how much longer I can keep watching

I've watched two episodes. This week's had what I think was a drug raid some Mayans made with some law enforcement agency that were dressed in camo. One of the non-LEO guys on the raid planted something in the room, and shot laptops to damage hard drives. I guess there's a reason LEO doesn't do drug raids with gangs IRL.

I am caught up and basically use it as background noise TV. It occasionally has its moments but it isn't must-see TV, if my streaming service dropped the channel tomorrow I wouldn't think about it again. The caught between two loyalties and a master theme had potential but those sorts of themes are so easy to ruin.
There is a whole backstory to that so it isn't quite as ridiculous as it seems but a story has to be tight for elements like this to work.

Btw I forgot about this but the whole shooting the laptop thing was one of the fakest things I’ve seen on tv in a while, he blasted it with a full auto that was at least a .223 in all likelihood and the thing just sparked a little. It would’ve blown the thing to pieces

Happy made an appearance & some mention of Jax was made about SOA supposed to be out of guns.
Honestly, I think if Sutter wants to salvage Mayans, he needs to pull back in the SOA MC as well as maybe some of the black guys. Tie it all in together. That'll bring back the die hard SOA fans too.

Looks like that’s the direction they’re trying to steer it with Happy apparently being the guy who killed EZ’s mom. If he does decide to kill Hap there’s no way that it doesn’t start a war with Samcro, right? Per the last episode of SOA Happy was named Sgt. at Arms, basically President Chibbs’ right hand man.
I still wish we could have gotten a two hour special or something based on the events after the SOA finale, Jax kind of left Chibbs and Tig a pretty big mess to clean up
