Mine is EASILY Robert Redford.

Of course, my favorite movie is "A River Runs Through It."

For me it’s Morgan Freeman in Shawshank.

David McCullough

He did Civil War, Brooklyn Bridge, American Experience, Donner Party, Huey Long, Napolean - PBS Empires Series, Seabiscuit (the movie), Panama Canal, the Shakers, Statue of Liberty, etc.

Basically all the good PBS docs.

He also won the Pulitizer Prize for his books on Truman and John Adams.

Not a movie, but Boris Karloff’s narration of the Grinch is hard to beat.

I liked Ray Liotta in Goodfellas and Joe Pesci and Deniro in Casino. Alec Baldwin in Royal Tennanbaums was hilarious. Also, Martin Sheen in Apocalypse Now.
