honestly i don't ever see it listed among them, but yesterday i was trolling my 5 year old nephew because i'm sure it would creep him out, and he was like is that the one wit "jack skeleton"

i think its one of the few that holds up, but its not playing on direct tv or anything right during the holiday season. i guess it being available on netflix is the same thing but i see awful christmas movies playing on hallmark and everywhere else all month

It's incredible. Lock, shock, and barrel!

It’s one of my favorite movies of all-time, but i’m also a hack for Selick and anything Tim Burton is associated with.

Selick is very under appreciated though, imo.

It seems like more of a Halloween movie to me.

Halloween is only referenced in the first ten minutes, then everything else is about Christmas. I’d say it’s certainly a Christmas movie.

It’s my all time favorite movie, but I believe even the creator said it’s not a Christmas movie, but a Halloween movie and how the citizens of Halloween Town react to Christmas.

To me that doesn’t make much sense so I observe the movie year round.

The production company, the producer, and the director have all come out and said that it is 100% a Halloween movie.

I have direct tv and have seen it in the guide on at least three different channels at least once every day for the last two weeks. I would to watch it with my 2 year olds, but the opening scares them.

I think it's a great movie.

I watched it with my son last night after hearing all the rave reviews here. It was okay, but I expected more. Can’t hang with the classics.

I don’t believe any of those people have a say in what I consider a Christmas movie, but I’ve read all of their stupid reasoning before. It’s a movie about Christmas featuring characters from a Halloween themed town. Halloween is barely referenced.

Also, I don’t really have an issue with people thinking it’s a Halloween movie, either. That’s their prerogative.
