When did SpikeTV become the Paramount Network?

I was watching Forest Gump on what I thought was Spike until I kept noticing them running ads for shows coming on this “Paramount Network” and then realized that’s what they’re calling it now
Probably for the better they’re rebranding that I suppose

They want to be a more traditional cable network like TNT or USA. The programming for guys gimmick didn't work out.

USA sucks now. All they play is law and order all fricking day. They rarely play films anymore.

USA plays blocks of programming, so they'll have a day of L&O SVU or a night of NCIS or Modern Family. That's why it appears that they only show one program over and over. They also have wrestling and their original programming. Mr. Robot is their biggest current series.

I think Spike's only original show right now is Bar Rescue. Other than that its just the same movies every cable channel plays over and over again with some Friends episodes mixed in.

Paramount had a channel that was ridiculously high on the Cox channel spectrum. It was easier to get to by going to Channel 2 and then going down. It was your basic movie channel.

Not since the attitude era.
That shite was fun, but they dropped the ball on the business and basically cut off their own nuts.
Let the guys take drugs and steroids, encourage women to be whores in public, bring back vulgarity and violence.
