Cameron Britton in Mind Hunter.

Been a long time when an actor made me feel uncomfortable.

Just throwing out the most recent one that I thought was amazing.

I'm 100% confident in the top 3, but struggled with the other two...

1. Chris Cooper in "Adaptation".

2. JK Simmons in "Whiplash"

3. DDL in "There Will Be Blood"

4. Claire Danes in "Temple Grandin" (she didn't go full retard)

5. Jeff Bridghes in "Crazy Heart"

Day-Lewis in There Will be Blood and Joaquin Phoenix and Philip Seymour Hoffman in The Master are some of the very best performances of the last 20 years IMO. Probably a testament to director Paul Thomas Anderson.

A couple other of my favorites not mentioned:

Paul Giamatti - Sideways
Choi Min-shik - Oldboy

Erin Brockovich is actually on my "rewatchable" list. That is a great movie.
