What's the consensus on Catastrophe on Amazon?

for me and the wife it's funny enough and passes the time. It's an easy binge with a small number of episodes per season. I believe a 4th season is in the works.

I think it's really funny in parts and in other parts they go too dark and make it awkward. Overall it's good, a solid B. It was Amazon's best comedy before the Marvelous Mrs. Maisel came along. You need the closed captions on though for the friend with the thick accent that mumbles a lot.

i love it. especially the first season...until it went angry AF right at the end.

I read where Rob Delaney's 2 1/2 year old son in real life died recently of brain cancer. Holy shite that's terrible.
I didn't realize he now actually lives full time in London.

It's funny, but I agree it has declined a bit. It's a nice binge watch with the wife, but inessential. If you're married or have kids, you should watch. If not, its not a must see.

Damn that is sad. I guess I'll give him a pass for his psychotic tendencies. I'd probably be a mess too if my son was battling cancer.

She's 47. I hope I marry a woman that looks that good at that age.
Very good show. I agree with most others that think S1 is the best and that 2/3 are a bit darker. Catastrophe and "You're the Worst" are basically the same show.
