I'm using Netflix and Amazon Prime, and I'm still paying for Cox with plans to cut the cord in about 2 months (can't take the outrageous cost any longer). Not sure how I'm going to get NFL and college football yet. You?

Considering: Hulu, SlingTV, HBO Now

DirecTV Now, Hulu, Netflix, Amazon Prime.

I get HBOGo free through DirecTV Now via my AT&T cell plan.

Is there a good way to get NFL/College football without cable or satellite?

Netflix, Amazon Prime, and Cox VERY basic out of the wall for locals, anything else I need I get through apps that my mother pays for and she currently pays for everything.

I am not a moocher, since my father passed I tell her she needs to cut it down but since money isn't an issue she keeps them and I continue to use them.

Add PlayStation Vue, DirecTV Now and YouTube TV. They all have slightly different price points and channel packages so you need to do your own research to see which one will work best for you.

As for Football, PlayStation Vue is the only service I'm aware that has a local station at all in Baton Rouge, WAFB/CBS. That would have you covered for LSU football, but not the NFL. You'll probably need to get an antenna to watch local stations for that.

I cut the cord and have OTA HD channels running through a TiVo Bolt.

I have HBO Now, Prime, Netflix and PSVue

SlingTV
sucks. i had it for a year and a half and hated it. buffers like crazy, restarts, freezes, decrease in picture quality at times.

Switched to PS Vue and it is MUCH better. It's more expensive but it actually works.

Don't watch much NFL outside of what is on network channels. College football is covered via streaming services like PS VUE, DirecTV Now and Sling (shudder)

Stuck with Cox. They will raise my internet rate without cable to the point that switching PSVue or Sling isn't worth it.

I've seen speculation by people hoping that will happen, but I haven't seen anything solid so at this point planning on having an antenna is probably the best approach.

DirecTV Now has ESPN, ESPN2, and access to WatchESPN, which I'm pretty sure includes the SEC Network.

I watch the main networks via an HD antenna.

The fox sports app does have NFL games on it. I watch that instead of the terrible feed the local Baton Rouge Fox 44 broadcasts through.

My friend watched NFL games on Fox Sports Go last season.

I have a Roku with subscriptions to Netflix and CBS all access. I let my family use my Netflix, so I don't feel bad about using their password for the other apps.

I hated Sling. The streaming feature really sucks. The apps on Roku are much better.

Are you stuck with the local game, or can you pick?

What service was your Fox Sports app tied to when you watched last year though? Wasn't it your family member's actual cable service? That would be authorized for Fox44.
