That’s like naming your favorite Victoria secret model. You can’t go wrong with whichever.

Gus in Lonesome Dove.

But his role as the preacher in The Apostle is up there.

The Apostle EF for me. As Mac Sledge in Tender Mercies would be a close second.

Is the correct answer. But he is solid in EVERYTHING he does.

The Apostle.

He's one of my favorite actors, maybe my favorite. So many great works. But The Apostle was one role when he brought together his average guy charm and absolute crazy charisma to create this character who could make mothers trust him with their children while he skirted around back.

Gus is my favorite.

But his role in Apostle was great. Has he ever had a bad role? He nails it every time.
