What are your expectations for The Sopranos: The Many Saints of Newark?

Hoping for a slam dunk here. Easily the best HBO multi-season series that stayed more or less consistently good from start to finish. The only thing for me is that the amazing performances of James Gandolfini and the rest of the main cast from the series will loom over this movie. But the director also directed episodes of the series and the series creator is producing so it's not like this film will be getting JJ Abrams/Rian Johnson abuse. Also Gandolfini's son does look the part to play the younger version of Tony.

Young Gandolfini didn't really impress me in The Deuce. Hoping he proves me wrong on this.

David Chase is involved so that’s a plus.
I just want to see a young Corrado in action

I have high expectations with David Chase being involved. Also Alan Taylor directing. Always been interested in the Dickie Moltisanti story too. I'm also prepared to temp my expectations for Michael Gandolfini's acting. He's not going to be his father, who IMO was a damn good actor.
edit: Just realized that the guy playing Dickie is the same actor that played Castor Troy's brother in Face Off
