Movies that stuck with me as a kid.
Matango - Attack of the Mushroom People
The Lost Continent
Dracula vs. Frankenstein
Lots of the old Hammer Horror movies. They were so good at developing atmosphere and catching one late night used to scare the crap out of me as a kid.
Death Scream
Not sure if that is the right movie but a movie based on the woman murdered while the neighbors looked out there windows and none of them bothered to call the cops. The murder took a long time and yet nobody lifted a finger to help. That one really freaked me out as a kid.

Some of these arent really weird, but they all occupied a ton of my time when we had HBO in the 80s.

I remember liking the boob scene from Just One of the Guys but wasn't old enough to ... you know.

The Gate was freaky as a kid. Those little demons. The hands from under the bed.

Absolutely terrified me as a kid

Premise is a mad scientist turns people into snakes. I saw this when I was really young. The main protagonist's name is David, which is my name. He gets turned into a snake at the end. Freaked me out. I had nightmares about it.

For being Disney, these scared the hell out of me as a child. But I loved it and had it recorded on tape from the TV. I'm pretty sure Disney was a premium channel back then.
And this was a weird little movie that I watched over and over. Probably because I love planes and he steals and SR-71 towards the end hahaha

I remember a lot of weird scenes from movies, but can't place what movie they're actually from. Like I remember a scifi/fantasy movie scene in a strange space pub where a guy was stuck in a tube full of liquid or something. A bunch of the patrons were drinking out of the tube. One of the main characters asked what their drinking, and another replies "Essence of Man." I have no idea what movie that's from, but it stuck with me.
And who could forget that awesomeness that was House... Ding Dong, You're Dead

I came here to post Mr. Boogedy. I'd love to watch it again around Halloween time.
