Watched Rampage (Rock) last night

I enjoyed it a lot. Watched it with my 7 year old son and he loved it. Humor, drama, action. It’s obviously a simple popcorn flick but it does exactly what it should.
Also PlayStation had the rental a dollar less than Amazon, I thought that was weird.
Anyone else seen it? Like it? It has me looking forward to Skyscraper.

I would love to hear your thought process on why this is weird...

Loved that movie. Everything doesn't have to have a great plot. Sometimes, I just want to spend my Saturday evening watching monsters tear shite up.

I enjoyed the frick out of the games as a kid. I had no regrets paying money for this in the theater. It was silly good fun.

I enjoyed it as well. My 6 year old asked me what it meant when George was putting his finger in the hole of his other hand. That was fun to not explain

Forgot I need to watch this, thanks for the reminder

Favorite movie I have seen in theatres this year. Was perfect for the big screen.

I thought it was mindless fun but also pretty gruesome for a PG 13 movie.
I wasn’t sure whether to laugh or feel sad for the tour bus full of people being eaten at Rushmore.

Just like you said, silly fun popcorn movie. Had a nice glass of whiskey (or two) and enjoyed the flick.

I liked it more than I thought I would.
It never pretended to be anything other than what it was: a goofy excuse to watch thrilling CGI battles and a gigantic albino ape give The Rock the finger. The acting was just passable, and the dialogue was cheesy; but they kept it light, and I thought it was a fun movie to drink a whiskey to and annoy/bore my gf.
I liked it better than Ready Player One, which I watched last night. I feel like a snob because I read the book and didn't like many of the changes (nor think they were all necessary). But I think that they substituted complexity for more action and compromised a cool part of the plot simply to expand the role of a female character in a completely silly/uncreative way (Girl power!). Standard Hollywood, really. But I also expect more from Spielberg. The acting was awful at times, and the dialogue was cheesier than even that of Rampage.

Watched Rampage this past weekend.
Thought it was well done for what it was and surprised me in how much I liked it.
Well worth the watch for some mindless fun

This was a solid popcorn flick. Cheesy obviously but pretty cool to watch. There were multiple moments in the movie that gave a nod to Die Hard.

Did anyone else notice the original video game in the room when the dork bad guy Wyden walked by?
