So where the hell was she? Did she die in the ship? Never saw her body but seems weird to kill her off without mention given her extended role in Raknarok.
Did she survive and come back in part 4?Thoughts?

The real reason is probably that they still want to use that character later but the story is already overstuffed with heroes.

I like Valkyrie, and if she's Thor's love interest going forward, I'll take her over Natalie Portman everyday.

At first I thought they were all dead. But after reading the boards, Thor mentioned that half of his people were killed.
So, while we see Heimdall and Loki face an on-screen death. Maybe there's a chance that Korg and Valkyrie are still alive somewhere floating in the depths of space.

Wondering about Sif.
Obviously, wasn't around for Ragnarok (and didn't meet the same fate as the Warriors 3), but what about later?
Would be nice to see her come back into the picture.

Same, she was a cool supporting character. Way better than Falcon or War Machine.

I think someone said the more cosmic characters from Ragnarok will reappear in the more cosmic centered sequel.
