Pretty much the only reason I can think that they didn't cast him for the official one they are working on is his age.

Nathan Fillion was born to play Nathan Drake just like Ryan Reynolds was born to play Deadpool. Let's hope this fan film explodes like the Deadpool short film and becomes a reality.

I’d definitely watch that.
And yeah, I’d rather J.K. Simmons or someone who could be a bit more of a balance to NF. But that was pretty good.

it was good, but i did not like the guy that played Sully. whoever that was was not Sully.
Tom Hanks has the build and head shape when he has a mustache, but i don't think he can mimic the raspy cigar smoker voice.

Hanks would be a great Sully.
Lang always plays the hardass tough guy or at least he has in anything I have seen him in.
I don't picture him as Sully but I haven't watched the clip so he might surprise me.

Bruce Campbell would be amazing at it. Hanks could pull it off as well but i just feel like the chemistry with fillion and Campbell would be superb. Although lang honestly did not do a bad job imo. I would accept that casting all around

I would pay to see this movie any day. As the others have said Fillion was perfect, Sully character was a tad weak. Still very enjoyable.
