Is Alan still a Chiropractor? They haven't mentioned it on the show in years, so I'm wondering if he is unemployed now. Which would be why he is always so broke. Otherwise that wouldn't make any sense. He has no bills and never has any money..

Yes. I'd much rather watch that. They never showed his body. Would be classic Charlie, faking his own death. Running away from Alan with hookers, and wads of cash in his pockets. Rose could be in on it.

I actually think it would be funny if they brought Charlie back as a ghost. Only Alan can see him. He drives Alan nuts. Kutcher and Sheen never acknowledge each other, never speak to each other. That would make for interesting TV.
That being said, this show has run its course. (Actually, this show ran its course two or three seasons ago.) Where are they going with it? Alan cant be a more pathetic human being.

It's clearly run the course. Charlie is gone, and Jake grew up. I haven't liked Jake's character since the episodes with Celeste.

The show has never, ever been funny. I think it shows how dumb we have become overall as a society and what we actually accept as comedy. How that show has been on for so long, I'll never understand.
