just finished part 1. wasn't bad IMO, just laying some groundwork. love Lynch's style though

This show loves holding a shot for an extended amount of time. Definitely not for the ADHD generation.

Only watched 1&2 so far, but I like it. As with most Lynch stuff, I tend to sit back and enjoy the aesthetics without expecting the story to make a ton of sense.
I was a little young when the original series ran, but in hindsight I think it's obvious Twin Peaks paved the way for a lot of artiness and experimentation on TV that would eventually become accepted. I do remember some of the hype surrounding the original show, and it's still kinda crazy that a Lynch creation was that mainstream for a season and a half of TV.
Speaking of which, they did 22 episodes in the second season...hard to imagine any quality show today putting out that many episodes in a year.

Yeah, I'm a massive Lynch fan and even that overstayed its welcome for me. 3 is my least favorite episode so far. Going to watch 4 this afternoon.
