I think he looked much thinner in the mid-season premier than he was in the first couple of seasons. Anybody else see that?

That last comment did not answer the question, neither did this one. But yes, I noticed that too,

It's the Zombie Apocalypse dude. He doesn't have the option of going through the drive thru at McDonald's anymore.

I'm willing to bet he has sacrificed a meal or two for the greater good of the group.

Word? Season 3 has been great. (the one on Sunday was the only bad episode so far I've thought)

SPOILERS

I quit watching at the one where the kid shoots him mom. The show is just getting ridiculous. Like they forget how fricking dangerous the zombies are. I know the show depends on it for action, but they are so fricking reckless, like they haven't learned anything.

Show sucks now. Should have stopped after 2.

Those that were lucky enough to survive have developed some survival skills against the undead.

if they didn't occasionally act rashly, we would bitch about a lack of action. And usually that rash behavior is a result of dwindling resources or a need for shelter, so it's not entirely implausible for them to act the way they do.

I'd rather they behave in the manner that they do rather than hang out in a bomb shelter for 6 months and chow down on canned goods.

So you would rather risk the lives of your family/friends than hunker down and live off what you have? You would fit right in with the cast.

One scene that jumps to mind is when they are outside of the prison. Why not take your time to kill all of the walkers, rather than rush in, get trapped, nearly die, etc.? It's stupid. Every situation turns into a "HOLY shite, WE frickED UP" moment when it was completely unnecessary.

Like I said, I know the show depends on their stupidity for action, but it bothers me.

I couldnt agree more. I really tried to like the firsthalf of this season but it just isnt happening. The whole governor character is just terrible. It has completely lost the excitement it brought in season 1.

same here

they need to recruit a few stronger fighters and send them back into the wild to actually face zombies again. hopefully that comes with the oncoming war with Boringberry

Its like they are trying to appeal to a larger audience instead of staying true to what they first started.

throwing in soap opera moments for the bandwagon chicks who know nothing about the living dead, and really just watch the show cause it's "cool to" or to see Rick and Daryl, etc. its lost a lot of intensity.

with that said, best show to watch until breaking bad comes back on.

I'll give you Game of Thrones, But i'd still put the walking dead over Mad Men and Justified.

Im hoping the show picks up..

the addition of Tyrese, along with Merle back in the mix..hoping next week delivers more than the recent premier.

to each his own

i do like The Walking Dead, but to me it's not a top tier show. If it wasn't for the zombie aspect of it, I would not even be interested.
