Midway through Season 3 now. Loved season 2 but It’s bogging down a little but I expect it to pick back up. It’s got some great characters.

e prepared to hate Simcoe.
I enjoy the character but it is wild how much they embellished any wrongdoing by/evilness of the historical John Graves Simcoe
I believe the real Simcoe ended up bringing about the end of slavery in Canada and founding the city that would become Toronto.
I loved his character in the show for his hateability, but the level of evilness reminds me of Col. Tavington from the Patriot (based very loosely on Banastre Tarleton, who was not a crazed murderer either )

Really enjoyable. Wish there was more Revolutionary War and Civil War shows like it.
Same here. I really enjoy a good historic drama that has a strong foundation in fact. I have no problem with them taking a little artistic license to improve the storyline for television.
