The Cheeseburger Picnic was my late wife's favorite thing ever. Every time I watch that episode I smile thinking about how hard she laughed at it every single time it was on.

Definitely a great episode.

When Ray became a prominent cast member was probably my favorite run. Dude is hilarious.

Like any comedy TV show you can’t judge it by it’s 1st season

Trailer Park Boys and It's Always Sunny are by far the two funniest shows ever created.

Losing Jim Lahey (John Dunsworth) should have been the end of the show but I guess Netflix $ was just too much to turn down.

But losing Ray after the original run of the show hurt alot, too. He was kind of the moral soul of the show, as twisted as that sounds.

The reason Ray though was never on the Netflix shows is because the actor was actually an executive for Showcase, the original Canadian cable show that made the show. They apparently brought him on at the beginning of the show to have a stable force guiding the show every day because the network knew they had something good, but the creators were just so raw and inexperienced in TV, so Ray was brought into the day to day operation of the show.

Keep watching. It gets a whole lot better. A show about trailer trash is bound to be funny.

I think the show comes into its own in the season 2 episode 2 “Jim Lahey is a Drunk Bastard”

Bueno. Sounds like Season 2 it is. Time to give it another go.

I noticed the subtitles read "sam squamtch" anytime bubbles says it, but "samsquanch" when other characters say it.

Great show that I barely remember any of it but laughed so hard watching it first run.

Ricky using his hockey camp kids to run his grow operation and Nathan MacKinnon threatening to beat Ricky's arse for using him, Paul Coffey, and Marty McSorely as players that could make a "possible appearance" at Ricky's camp.

There's no sonics in Canada. They meet up at Tim Hortons I believe.
