I called it as soon as I saw the last episode of season 12 that they were gonna milk this bad boy and turn it into a cartoon.

TPB officially jumped the shark some years ago.
The original Showcase series is up there with some of the most original comedy ever made, especially the first 4 or 5 seasons. The movies that followed were OK, nothing to write home about, then the first season or so of Netflix was watchable... But by no means good.
From what little I've seen of the show recently, it's almost like a bad self parody of itself at this point. They were basically out of material by like season 6 of the original show.
Jim Lahey, who was easily the best Character and actor on the show, is also now gone from a cast that has really dwindled of good characters.
Ray just disappears after they leave showcase (I know he was a producer) and is never mentioned again and Trevor disappears as well, only to be replaced by people not as good as them.
Cyrus is actually the worst villain in the shows history but yet he's back.
I know they are doing this all because of the checks now and I guess enough people still watch, but damn, I was a die hard TPB fan back in the day, and now I just don't even care.
