It's on Paramount again. Don't care, time for another thread.

Someone needs to take Kurt Russell, Val Kilmer, Sam Elliot, and Michael Biehn to a nice dinner. Get them boozed up, then make them watch the movie and record their behind the scenes commentary.

"Before filming the gripping final scene that shows Doc Holliday on his deathbed, actor Val Kilmer was said to have laid down on a bed full of ice. Brr! An ode to his dedication as an actor, Kilmer believed this would force his body into shakes, making it seem more realistic to a viewer that Doc was indeed on his way out of this world."

Kurt has the director fired the day before shooting or a few days into shooting for incompetence. He , Val, Powers and Paxton essentially directed. Post movie interviews of Val and Paxton indicate it was really Kurt who directed it, but he wanted credit to go around.

One of the most well cast movies of all time. The chemistry was off the charts good.

I say it's the most rewatchables film ever made. Paramount does not show it nearly erery week for no reason.

It's up there with Raiders of the Lost Ark and The Godfather on the rewatchabity scale.

It's maybe the best cast film of the last 30 years.

It's crazy how much more entertaining this one is compared to "Wyatt Earp."

The only thing the Costner movie had that this one didn't was a little nudity.

Billy Bob absolutely consumes the landscape in this one.

Still, a nearly perfect flick. Peak Dana Delaney. Yowza.
