I still haven't gotten back in sync with the show after the 2 years off. What are they trying to do with the judge? I know they're trying to set Howard up for something but I have no idea what's going on scene to scene. I feel like I'm missing all these important tidbits because I don't remember what the hell I'm looking for

The last few episodes have sputtered along.

It has not been made clear. Involves an impersonation of the mediator/retired judge and the Sandpiper mediation. But I don’t know. Frankly, I don’t really care at this point.

Gus decided to just direct the episode and not actually appear in it
Real bummer about that part

The audience is behind the characters for a change, and it’s throwing you off. We’ve been ahead of them just about the whole series until now, because we know what happens in BB.

They had some plan with the mediator that got blown up by his broken arm. They had pictures of the fake mediator meeting Jimmy with no cast.

That's what sucks with the short seasons and long periods between them. One almost has to binge the entire show when a new season is coming up to remember what all is going on.
Not everyone has time for that shite.

Just noticed how sad Howard’s room in the guest house was.

I was actually gonna say I almost want to quit, rewatch the whole series, then binge this last season. I feel like I'm wasting it and missing out on the excitement

I think Howard's PI will somehow spot Jimmy meeting with the fake mediator and pass that info along to Howard. Howard then accuses the judge and Cliff steps in before Howard totally derails the case.

Kim's mom is bangable
Pretty sure that was Kim's voiced dubbed.

I hate Saul + Kim. Worst part of the show.

Didn’t expect to say this, but that was almost a bad episode. I get that they’re building to some shite but it feels like it’s been building for far too long at this point.
The Lalo shite seems especially unnecessary. Him in Germany is ridiculous anyway, as has been discussed. But even still, have him get what he needs and GTFO. Him chasing down all these people feels cheap and stupid. And why would he be aggressive and attack that dude anyway? For all he knows, those dudes would spill the beans for some cash or mild threats.
I’m wondering if this new opportunity is what makes Kim swing back into the good side of things. She’s still all in for this plan with Howard, but I’m wondering if that lasts. And the flashbacks with her mom seem strange and way overly forced.
I also agree with the comments about Kim being totally different this season. That almost feels too forced as well. It doesn’t fit the character too well IMO.
Can’t wait for Ham to jump all over Jimmy referring to Kim as Eisenhower in his D-Day analogy. That should be insufferable.

They are trying to force a settlement of the Sandpiper case to get Jimmy his money faster. They are trying to use Howard's "bad behavior" to put pressure on Cliff Main from Davis & Main to end the case faster to cut ties with HHM before Howard's perceived drug problem screws up the case. It looks like they are going to make it look like he's hopped up on drugs and paranoid about Jimmy meeting with the "mediator".

Yeah I mean the whole tone of Kim’s character just seems odd compared to what it was in seasons 1-5
That's kind of the point. Saul & Kim both have their "breaking bad" moments leading up to this season. I think she just had her's tonight when she decided to skip the meeting in Santa Fe for Howard's D-day.

Perfect actress and voice then.

Don't provoke him. It would be great if he took a week off.
Regarding the visit with the vet.. what did he give Saul? Is it something for his disguise as the former judge or is it something to use against Howard? He said something about "he's about the same size as me".

She literally turned her back on this. Had a clear choice to make about which road to take and turned around.
