One is for Phillastine’s and one is not. Choose wisely.

I’m kidding....Thor looks pretty good. I’m just burnt out on so many SH movies...I honestly can’t keep up.

3 Billboards, even if I was underwhelmed by it given the praise from this board. I was also underwhelmed by Thor though. But they’re both decent movies, that I’d recommend.

I'm leaning Three Billboards.

This will be my first time using Movie Pass. No idea how it works.

3 Billboards was the best movie of the year.

Thor was solid too

If you've got movie pass, see one today and one tommorow

And it's easy to use, open the app and find the movie/time you want to go (have to be within 100 yards of the theater) and click check in

Then you can either walk up to the cashier or to the machine and order a ticket like usual and use the movie pass same as you would a credit card

My MoviePass card hasn't come in yet. The theater I go to has a scanner. Do I need the card or can I just use the e-ticket?

Makes a lot of sense now. I feel like an idiot.

Thor was better than I thought it would be, but I am starting to get tired of the comic book over powered single villain.

Frankly, I would suggest say home and watch the Punisher on Netflix. That is probably the best Marvel anything I have seen.

Completely depends on the mood you’re in.

If you want something with minimal thought that's just a downright fun escape from day to day drudgery and toil, Rangarok is a badass popcorn flick. If you’re looking for something deeper that’ll make you laugh one moment and punch you in the gut the next, Three Billboards is wonderfully done and has the best acting I’ve seen all year.

Both good in their own ways

Three Billboards is a far better "movie" - in that, it has A+ acting, a complex, multifaceted story, minimal score, moments of light/dark (described as darkly comic - I would say it's almost 50/50 dramedy) - and all that goes with it.

Thor (I know I have a reputation on here for hating everything, particularly SH movies and so many of the "commercial" movies, so take this next bit with eyes open) is A LOT of fun. I actually don't watch very many at all of these, and even fewer in the cinema. I did see Avengers, Civil War and Deadpool at the cinema on the Marvel side. I suppose that the more of the movies you watch, the more inside references you will get.

Mrs. Midnight would pick Thor. I would pick Three Billboards. The former is a fun, "spectacle" film that is like candy - no nutritive value. The latter is a high quality film that will be influential and talked about for years to come, and for more than the box office numbers and tie ins.

Interesting.

Option A: cancer, which you will defeat and go on to live a happy, prosperous life
Option B: 50 billion dollars, but you are locked away in a North Korean prison camp

Pop quiz, hotshot! What. Do. You. Do.

There are some theaters that you're able to use before you get the card, but I've never done it like that so idk.
