The other is Korg's final joke at the end.

My theater erupted in laughter at that joke. Some of you are taking it too serious.

Because I didn't like one or two jokes out of 100?

I wanna see Thanos physically beat down the hulk to a pulp without the gauntlet.

He's a soft-spoken Drax with better timing except for that one joke, imo.

He's like a gay (NTTAWWT) Drax/Ever Lovin' Thing hybrid.

Saw it yesterday
It was very good. Top 5 MCU for me, but I also really liked the first 2 Thor's
I like the new approach, but I did feel like there was too much cheap one-liner humor. It made the movie more fun, but at the same time, didn't draw me in like the first 2 Thor's did because of all the humor. I wanted more seriousness
Great story and action though

2 questions for all those that follow this so close...
1. When did they decide to have Thor lose an eye?... In the trailer, they show him lighting up on the bridge with both eyes, but in the movie, just 1 eye
2. (Kind of feeding off question 1) In the leaked trailer for IW, Thor has both eyes when he is with the GotG. Does he regenerate an eye or was the "losing an eye" a last minute edit to Ragnarok?

I bet it was a last minute edit to bring a little more weight and seriousness to it.

I wouldn't bet the two eye thing makes a difference - they could easily be having the two eyes in the trailer so as not to spoil his losing 1 eye in T:Rag.

Can you imagine if they had shown him with 1 eye before the Thor moving came out? You would know he lost an eye in the movie.

Also, Thor losing an eye makes him like Odin - so its possible he gains the Odinforce at some point.

I'm not sure losing an eye has anything to do with the Odinforce...

I wasn't implying losing the eye giving him the odinforce, only that he's starting to take on the role of his father, which would eventually include the odinforce. (and you know, creating his own new Mojlnir) I believe something similar happened in one of the comic lines at some point.

Can thanos do that? I never got the impression from the comics that he could beat up Hulk like that.

His lost eye was digitally added in to prevent spoilers before the movie was released.

Or maybe his eye was digitally removed in the movie

Just finished it. My boys, 11 and 7, loved it. I thought it was a fun movie. Jokes were good, maybe too many at times but that’s ok. Thor 2 was so serious and dark it was nice to see lighter and funny. Hela was great but did seem to get lost in the third act. I didn’t like how she still handled Thor even after he gained new power.

I would have liked better post credit scenes. Seeing Thanos’ ship was cool but most people in the theatre seemed confused as to whose ship it was.

I had to sidestep my oldest asking what an orgy was?! As soon as they said it I cringed! Just told him it was a grown up thing.

Without the gauntlet? Highly doubtful. Again, kicking his arse only makes Hulk madder, thus fueling the chain reaction.

With the gauntlet? The question then becomes, "How many stones?" Because that's a big deal - that's universe breaking power at a certain point.

Thanos is one of the weaker Eternals (or no better than middling) without the gauntlet.

Someone told me earlier in the thread that he was the strongest Eternal.
