It's like it was written by a 10 year old and directed by simple jack. Geez. The vibe and feel reminds me of Gilligan's Island.

I like realistic movies when it comes to true stories. I know not everything is going to be accurate but damn at least have the main character look like Barry seal.

Agreed I hated it.

It’s a PG version of the story. Barry seal a family man? LMFAOOOOO

My favorite part was the little montage they did at the end as a “where are they now” including showing the fates of a couple of his running buddies that had a total of 2 minutes of screen time

The brother in law or whatever the kid was, was fricking horrible and alone made me hate the movie.

It wasn’t terrible but I don’t know any better, I don’t know the real story that well.

I thought that the feel of the movie, direction/cinematography wise, wasn’t great and felt amateurish.

I watched about 30 minutes of it last night on hbo and I immediately hated the way they filmed it with all the overexposure/bright whites and other gimmicky crap. It takes away the feeling of it being based on “true” story
