I still enjoy it a ton, outside of the artsy fartsy crap they did around Carl dying. Those episodes in the middle of last season were absolutely brutal.

I have been a pretty vocal TWD critic/realist on how bad it’s gotten, but to its credit it’s always managed to put out pretty sweet Comic Con trailers. Even dating back to season three and the prison.
That being said, I stopped watching long ago and will not be watching or picking it back up. Bad shows even with flashy trailers are still bad.

At the pace the shows been moving I imagine a 2 min trailer barely finishing 1 word of dialogue in some non-essential conversation between two characters nobody knows or cares about.

I think it looks pretty good, and knowing that the cast will be gutted will likely lead to some great deaths that wouldn't have otherwise happened. After that, who knows?

While the trailer looks good and the idea of internal conflict as the main antagonist could be interesting, if they slow play it like they tend to do this could be the most boring season yet.

Really interested in seeing what they do with Negan. Will he get out somehow and go on a rampage to get his revenge? Or perhaps will he evolve and become a better person?
