The Walking Dead Comic Book Discussion (Related to TV Show, CONTAINS SPOILERS)

It appears that they are going to continue down the same path as the comics but just change the characters between the tv show and comic book.
SPOILER WARNING for anyone who hasn't read the comics
I think I figured out what they are doing with the TV Show now.
Michonne is now taking over Rick's part in the comics. Since he is still alive in them, and she was already playing the part Andrea was in the comics, I think they are simply going to let her run the table. She has already been caught talking to herself (Rick does this many times with Andrea).
I also think Negan gets to continue down the same road. He will kill Alpha and have an epic fight scene with Beta before helping Daryl fight them during the war.
Gabriel will get killed by Beta, just like in the comics, since he is basically already in an awkward place with Rosita being preggo with Saddiq's child.
Finally, do you think they do the heads on a spike scene? Assuming they end up doing it tonight or next week, if they do it at all, it will be between those two episodes. Who do you think gets it on TV show?
In the comics... Ezekiel, Rosita, Dr. Carson, Olivia, Tammy Rose, Luke, Ken, Erin, Larry, Amber, and Oscar are decapitated and put on a spike in one of the most gruesome moments in the show's history, imo.
Since many of them aren't on the TV show, or are already dead on TV, do you think they kill off Rosita, Ezekiel, Tammy Rose, Luke, and a few other nobodies? Or do they kill off some big names?

Rumour is there will only be 8 pike deaths.
My guess is the deaths will be Ezekiel, Gabriel, Rosita, Alden, Kelly, Tammy, Diane, and someone from Oceanside

I actually was on AMC's app and they have an image of the new people with their guards up and holding up their weapons. In that scene are also background characters like Keno, Oscar, and Tammy Rose, who get piked in comics. So I think they might fill in the gaps with maybe 2-3 people different

I could see them killing Tara over Rosita. Her only role right now is to take over Hilltop and Daryl seems to have taken that role and Maggie is supposed to be back next season.

It's not confirmed but Kang said she's writing season 10 with Maggie back also Laruen Cohan said she's pretty hopeful she'll be back

If they do, then we got ourselves another TV/Comic storyline merging together. Maggie is with Georgie's group of survivors, and for all we know, that could be The Commonwealth and Georgie could be Pamela. That would actually work but that would also mean that it couldn't happen until the mid-season premier because the Whisperers War isn't even halfway over, and that would be rushing through it.

Possibly but I'm still banking on Rick being at the Commonwealth since with a higher budget it'd be easier to do a full city

For the films? Yeah, could be.
Are you watching tonight's episode? If so, I take back what I said about Negan vs Beta having an epic fight. I really think Daryl vs Beta's fight scene just now was very well done and pretty fricking good (Sorry if you haven't seen it, they fight but I won't say what happens)

Next Week's trailer confirms, to me, that the Pike Deaths will be next week. They only showed Michonne, Judith, and Daryl, Lydia, Henry, Tara and no one else to not reveal anything

Well is really looks like we're getting fricked with on trying to guess the pikes.
From the looks of it the Highwaymen tell Daryl and crew about the Whisperer attack and Daryl, Carol, Connie, Michone, Yumiko, and Magna go check it out
Based on the promo Daryl might also get shown the ocean of walkers
