Cool, thanks for the info.

Yep, almost finished and it’s pretty decent. Also, Amazon always releases original content the day before the official air date.

I thought it was great.

How was it great? The plot holes in this thing are the size of a black hole.

Plot holes usually “discovered” from people lacking imagination

I mean it wasn’t the best movie I’ve ever seen but i enjoyed it . Would prob watch again down the road. I like Chris Pratt in most everything he’s in.

Good movie, probably won’t watch it again but glad I did watch it.

OK good but not great. Has a Starship Troopers vibe to it. But as expected very PC.
But Chris Pratt delivers, for sure.
It borrows a lot from Edge of Tomorrow, Aliens, Prometheus and Starship Troopers. Too many convenient happenstances. Talk about having to suspend belief.
But still worth watching.

Kinda goofy the way everyone happened to be just the person needed, but no worse than the Godzilla movies.

I enjoyed it, but to say this was great is a little much. Pratt was good. The lack of explaining the strategy of sending all those ppl back was big for me. You have 30 years to prepare, atleast show some disagreement on sending all those people back. And teams of scientists should have been going to study them. The plan should have centered around studying them to stop them in 30 years. Just felt rushed. Overall a good movie. Omniman was great.

I think there's a good chance it would have bombed, due to being slow.
Instead, they gave us a popcorn action flick with good effects and action, an A-list action lead actor, and a good supporting cast.
Look at it this way, they always could have been studying them since the first trip back, but you could say they didn't trust today's governments to make the necessary steps.
As for plot holes, I thought they actually put a good deal of thought into some of the 'science' aspects, a lot more than we usually see.
I'd go into more detail, but don't want to post unnecessary spoilers.
I also appreciate the overall length of the story. I really didn't think we'd get the conclusion, I figured it would end before then.

The only issue I had was why were all the cars in 30-years future Miami all like 2019-2020 models? I am thinking just poor filmmaking on that.

Yeah I hear ya I enjoyed it. I just wanted to see an old Chris Pratt 30 yrs later leading the fight with his daughter with some bad arse tech to kill these things. Tech that they got for studying these things for 30 yrs. But it was good.

In a time traveling alien movie?
No way!?!

It's a bit "paint by numbers", but an enjoyable sci-fi action flick.

It borrows a lot from Edge of Tomorrow, Aliens, Prometheus and Starship Troopers.

It probably would have been better as a 3 or 4 part series than a movie. Just felt rushed and George Bush "We did it" esque at the end

I liked it.
ETA: Looks like I was fooled. Someone on Reddit mentioned a post-credit scene and what it was. I didn't watch the credits, but I took them at their word. Shame on me.
