Now, I’ll admit, it has been a while since I read the comics, what storyline are they going with here?
ETA: Now I see that Lucifer is played by the actress from GoT.
Kinda meh on this.
This is a property that will likely never be done justice in live action.

I'm going to give it a shot just because it's the craziest thing I've ever read, but I don't see how you could do this justice. Although the trailers looked pretty good.

I haven't seen this yet, so I don't have an opinion yet. But I don't know why a female, who's pulled off an androgynous look quite well in the past, playing a shape-shifting character designed to look like an even more androgynous David Bowie is an automatic problem.

This show is awful. I quit after 2 episodes. I loved the comic growing up. I feel like part of my childhood died. The show is that bad. Maybe HBO can do a proper treatment one day.

I wouldn’t call it awful. But it’s also not 85% worthy either. I am only a few episodes in. 5/10. Visuals are cool. Acting is meh. Story is meh. Certainly not a weekend all in thing. Probably take me a few months to finish.

Favorite comic of all time. TV adaptation I'll give a solid 7/10. Writing was better than I expected, but some of the acting was just not good. Overall, I enjoyed it and will definitely watch a second season

Well Neal Gaiman was %110 supportive of this show and had a big say in it so I doubt you'll get anything else.
