12 may be a little young depending on what kind of stuff you let him watch.
I liked it. Thought it was a little different and good. Really intense at times. Ending is a little weak but overall solid as well. Overall it’s a great watch for horror fans.

Check out The Wailing. It’s a Korean movie from a few years back. Really good movie and pretty damn creepy. I think it’s still on netflix

Very heartily disagree. I thought the Wailing was slow, boring, and annoying. I could t help but feel I was wasting my time with the end of the movie.

I just watched the Ritual due to this thread and I really enjoyed it.
Of anything, it had a bit of a Dog Soldiers vibe.

About a hour in, really enjoying it so far. Very creepy and I love the lighting of the movie. Especially in the Forrest with the sun coming through the trees. Somehow makes it creepier.

They really messed up and deserved it when they said "that was the most fricked up night I've ever had, let's not use the map or compass anymore and just follow this trail. Good plan.
