This weekend, Björnsson earned a spot in the record books.
Competing in the 2018 Arnold Strongman Classic, Björnsson set a world record for the raw deadlift with a 1,041-pound lift. It’s something you have to see to believe.

Yes there is and it can vary between organizations
For instance the IPF doesn’t allow lifting straps as was used in the video.
Raw typically means a belt chalk and singlet
Some lifters can wear a squat suit or deadlift suit which helps with the initial pull off the ground.
