I missed season 1 the first time around so I decided to rewatch it with my son - my god this show is hilarious.
How this show was cancelled after 2 seasons is beyond me.

It was a funny show, but without seeing viewership numbers the simple answer is: FOX.
Also, it cracks me up that this show is highlighted on the commercial directing you to watch FOX on their app or Hulu.

There needs to be a movement to bring this back. It’s rare when I laugh this hard at a show while simultaneously caring about the characters. It was perfection

Makes me crazy to think that this show, with its excellent comedic writing and acting, got cancelled after 2 seasons.
Meanwhile unfunny tripe like "So Help Me Todd" will probably get renewed forever.

The other Mick thread a month or two ago got me to watching thsi show which I'd never seen before. I was a little bit slow to get on board but I'm almost done with bth seasons now and I dig it. Honestly Mick is one of my least favorite characters, I just don't really find her particular brand of humor all that funny. Jimmy and Alba both crack me up though.
