It probably starts in 1967 (Newark Riots) and shifts to the mid-70s.
yeh the race riot stuff seems like an odd plot line to center around, especially today. I think fans want to see more of the mob stuff and how "Dickie single handedly hunted down a New England crew" and took "Gilly Ruffalo's eye out in the can"

That can’t be right. That looked just like her and sounded like her. CGI maybe?
If you’ve seen Vera Farminga, it looks like her but she’s wearing a nose prosthetic.

Yeah I instantly recognized that as Vera Farminga

Lets hope so.
Lots of interesting mob story lines from the late 70's and early 80's with Jersey connections...from Philadelphia mob wars to all the corruption with casinos and gambling legalization in Atlantic City.
ETA It looks like the entire trailer is set in the 60's/early 70's.Hope it isn't the case.

In the 70's Paulie made it by the skin of his balls and there was no bigger cocksucker than Phil Leotardo.

Just finished season 3 so looks like I still got work to do before this comes out.

I think there is going to be two timelines. There's a different actor that's playing Tony as a little boy. That's likely during the Jersey riots. Then it'll move 10 years forward.

They have to show Tony and his crew taking down Feech’s Card game. It’s what made them who they are.

Dang I got goosebumps when the theme music kicked in at the end.

It does. Some of the audio quality for the guests is a little iffy but overall it's fine.

The '67 riots were mentioned in the HUD scam episode of the Sopranos and referenced Anthony Imperioli...real life NJ politician who formed an Italian vigil ante group to protect members of his community.
I just hope this isn't a big story line with all the other interesting and unanswered questions about the history of show's characters.
I also think there was more to the relationship between Tony and Christopher's dad that we don't know about.
How come Tony let that cop live for so long after he supposedly killed Christopher's dad?

The hottest little piece in Newark should be young Ginny Sac.

If Dickie was there I think they do show the start of it in the trailer.

I hope we get to see Uncle Pat, Murf Lupo, and Old Man Baccala cutting hair.
